Why did I write The Breakup Pivot Series?
In all transparency—I had a devastating heartbreak in my 40s by a man that I loved deeply and had invested my heart and soul in. As a result of the breakup, my self-esteem tanked, I was angry, and I was sad and lonely—which led to many crying spells in the middle of the workday behind closed doors. However, heartbreak had not been a stranger—we had met before on a few other occasions. I was betrayed in my 20s, experienced the pain of marital infidelity in my 30s, and after my divorce I experienced this last heartbreak in my 40s.
But instead of being another heartbreak, the difference was how I decided to deal with it. I did not stuff the heartbreak down, pretending it did not happen or that it wasn’t that bad to quickly move on to the next relationship—which was how I had dealt with the pain in the past. There was a definitive moment that I got fed up with being in a painful rut and I got in the driver’s seat of my own story. I took the time to sit in the pain and work through it. Then I took a self-inventory of my baggage, behaviors and mindset. I realized that I had to make a pivot to head in another direction to get the life I wanted for myself.
I have been where you are and in the spirit of sisterhood, I am here to lead you to freedom from your heartbreak, unforgiveness, anxiety, fear and your self-limiting beliefs so you can experience life filled with peace, joy and success greater than ever before.
Who is The Breakup Pivot: Volume I- Overcoming Heartbreak written for?
The Breakup Pivot: Volume I is written for you if you were in a romantic relationship which ended most likely not on your own terms and you are sad, hurt, angry, devastated, in denial, have been downgraded to a “friends with benefits” category, or have entered into stalker-like activities. If you are still grieving the loss of the relationship then this book can help you overcome your heartbreak.
